About
I am Qudrat Ullah, an Engineering Lead and Senior Software Engineer based in London, UK. I lead engineering teams and build systems that scale. Over the past decade, I have worked across fintech, media, and enterprise, turning complex problems into reliable, production-ready solutions.
Currently, I lead the engineering team at Loopla, where I transformed a monolithic platform into a distributed microservices architecture on Google Cloud Platform. Previously, I served as Engineering Team Lead at Blavatnik Archive Foundation in New York, where the platform received two NEH grants totalling over $397,000.
I specialise in Node.js, TypeScript, React, cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS), microservices architecture, and engineering leadership. I write regularly about software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and what it takes to grow as an engineer and a leader.
I publish across DEV Community, Hashnode, Medium, and Coder Legion. I also create courses on Udemy covering topics like microservices and system design.
Based in London, UK.
